There is a rescue underway for a foreign tourist who fell on the path that connects Encumeada to Pico do Ruivo. The woman is just over two kilometers from Encumeada and has a wound on her head. Seven members of the Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Volunteer Firefighters Mountain Rescue Team with two support vehicles were mobilized to the location recently.
