In the Port of Funchal, the ships Azura, which yesterday made its last stop in Madeira this season, and the Corinthian, which is making a total turnaround, involving 87 disembarks and 91 embarkations, are berthed. The two ships are moving a total of 4,307 people, of which 3,101 are passengers.
Corinthian is making its second total turnaround this season.
The ship arrived from Lanzarote and with the embarkation of 91 new passengers begins a 12-night cruise, with stops in Casablanca, Tangier, Málaga, Gibraltar, Cadiz, Seville and Portimão, where the trip ends on the 31st of this month.
The Azura arrived from Lanzarote, with 2,923 passengers and 1,140 crew and today, it says goodbye to this high season in Madeira, where it has been making weekly stops since the end of last October.
The ship began a new 27-night cruise, on March 15, in Tenerife, with calls in Lanzarote, now Funchal, then Cadiz, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Sardinia, Malta, Athens, Mykonos, Oraklion, Crete, La Valleta , Split, Trieste, Zadar, Dubrovnik and again, La Valleta, in Malta, where this cruise ends on April 11th.
The ship will be stationed in Malta, where it will operate cruises in the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea, from the Port of Valleta.
She returns to the Port of Funchal on October 21st and during the following months, she is repositioned on the CAI, Cruise Atlantic Islands route.
