A search, rescue and rescue team in the Municipal Firefighters of Machico is carrying out, this Friday, a rescue operation in Levada do Ribeiro Frio, towards the Portela area.
According to the JM, the alert was given after a tourist, who was accompanied, suffered a fall a few meters from the Forest Post. The victim complains of pain in the dorsal area.
Firefighters are already at the scene, having taken the initial approach, and are proceeding to rescue the man to the main road, where an ambulance will transport him to Dr. Nélio Mendonça in Funchal.
