Santana closes paths and access to the sea

The Municipal Civil Protection Service of Santana decided  to temporarily close footpaths and access to the sea, due to the red warning that will be in force this Monday, on the North coast of Madeira (and also in Porto Santo).

This measure targets the Caminho da Furna and Vereda da Quebrada trails, which provide access to the seixo, in the parish of Arco de São Jorge; access to the São Jorge Pier; to the mouth of the São Jorge River; to Faial Beach and the Fajã do Mar pier, in the parish of Faial.
ad From the municipalities of São Vicente and Porto Moniz, also covered by the IPMA notices, information was made available on their respective Facebook pages, accompanied by recommendations to residents and visitors.
