• PR 4 Levada do Barreiro
• PR 7 Levada do Moinho
• PR 14 Levada dos Cedros
• PR 19 Caminho real do Paul do Mar
• PR 20 Vereda do Jardim do Mar
• PR 23 Levada da Azenha
• PR 27 Glaciar de Planalto
• PR 28 Levada da Rocha Vermelha
The following walking trails are partially passable:
• PR 1 Vereda do Areeiro – passable trail from Pico do Areeiro to Miradouro da Pedra Rija, at km
1.2 • PR 2 Vereda do Urzal – passable trail from Lombo do Urzal to km
6.2 • PR 12 Caminho real da Encumeada – passable trail from Boca da Corrida to km
3.5 • PR 17 Caminho do Pináculo e Folha dal – passable trail between Encumeada and Bica da Cana
Given that the walking trails are located in areas subject to strong climatic pressure and consequent natural erosion, we warn you to take precautions when carrying out them and to comply with safety standards.
If you find any abnormal situation (occurrence of breaks, existence of branches/trees obstructing the path, and/or others) that has occurred on the walking trails, we would appreciate it if you reported it to the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation, IP-RAM.
