The two ships that are in the Port of Funchal today, Mein Schiff 7, which arrived early last night, and Borealis, which docked this morning, are moving 5,382 people, of which 3,749 are passengers.
The two ships are carrying out 7 and 14 night cruises around the islands of Madeira and the Canary Islands.
Mein Schiff 7 has 2,858 passengers and 1,011 crew on board. It stays in Madeira for 27 hours and leaves tonight, at 10pm, as part of the cruise that started in Las Palmas on November 24th, with stops in Tenerife, La Palma, now in Funchal, followed by Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria , where the trip ends on December 1st.

The Borealis began this cruise, in Portsmouth, on November 23rd. Funchal is the second port on the itinerary, with scheduled stops at La Palma, La Gomera, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Lisbon and Portsmouth, where it arrives on December 7th.
