Port of Funchal receives three ships with almost 9,500 people

The three ships currently in the port of Funchal – the Marella Explorer which arrived this morning, the Mein Schiff 7 which docked last night and the AIDAblu which docked yesterday morning – are carrying 9,458 people, of which 7,061 are passengers, revealed APRAM.

The ships, which are positioned on the Atlantic Islands cruise route – Cruise Atlantic Islands (CAI) – are carrying out seven, 12 and 14-night cruises, between Madeira and the Canary Islands and in the case of Mein Schiff 7 and AIDAblu with stops also in Morocco.

Coming from Lanzarote, the Marella Explorer brings 1,859 passengers and 786 crew. It will stay in Madeira for 11 hours and will depart at 6 pm for La Palma, as part of the seven-night cruise that starts on the 7th in Tenerife, with stops at five Canary Islands and Madeira. The voyage ends at the home port on February 14th.

Mein Schiff 7 arrived from Fuerteventura, with 2,944 passengers and 985 crew. Overnight in Madeira again, and departure at 2pm, heading to the island of La Palma.

This 14-night cruise, which departed from Las Palmas on February 2nd, will stop at six Canary Islands, Madeira and Agadir.

A similar itinerary is offered by AIDAblu, which is carrying out a 12-night cruise that had Las Palmas as its home port on February 2, with stops at six islands in the Canary Islands, Madeira and Agadir. The itinerary ends in the same port on February 16.
