Located in the parish of Ponta do Pargo, the Miradouro do Cabo has just been recovered and improved, presenting itself as another offer to those who visit this parish that is so known for its natural beauties. This new space is no exception as the green of the mountains and the blue of the sea guarantee visitors a beautiful setting.
The intervention was carried out by the Ponta do Pargo Parish Council, chaired by José Manuel Jardim, and had the support of the Calheta City Council, which guaranteed the necessary material for this work, which also includes the recovery of the footpath of access to the site, a distance of approximately 250 meters.
On a visit to the new viewpoint, from which it is also possible to see the Calhau das Achadas da Cruz, President Carlos Teles did not hide his satisfaction at seeing this infrastructure completed, especially in a parish that is so popular for walks and that is admired by the its breathtaking views.
“This will certainly be another reason for attraction in Ponta do Pargo”, he stressed, stressing that this is an additional offer to the many tourists who already traveled to this area to visit the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte.
