‘Marella Explorer’ brings more than 1,800 passengers to Funchal and moves 60 vehicles on land

Today, the port of Funchal receives the ship ‘Marella Explorer’, which returns for its weekly stop.

On board are 1,851 passengers and 779 crew members, while on land it handles more than 60 vehicles to support excursions and taxis.

The ship arrives from Tenerife and leaves tomorrow at 6 pm, heading to the Canary archipelago, to the small island of La Palma, with an expected stay in Funchal of 32 hours.

The sailboat “Santa Maria Manuela” has just entered the port, coming from the port of Porto Santo. She will spend the night on the North Pier, and is scheduled to leave tomorrow at 6 pm, heading to the island of La Gomera.
