Madeira is nominated in the “Creative Brand” category of the Tourism Leaders Awards, a TNews initiative that distinguishes companies, entities and professionals with remarkable performances in the tourism sector.
Voting is already open and runs until May 28. Subscribers to the TNews newsletter can vote and help Madeira win this distinction, which recognizes the strategic work developed in promoting the destination, writes the Regional Secretariat of Tourism, Environment and Culture.
The public vote represents 50% of the final decision, with the remaining 50% assigned by a specialized jury, composed of professionals in the areas of Communication, Marketing, Events, Innovation, Investment, Training and Human Resources.
The winners will be announced on June 5, during the 3rd Conference & Tourism Leaders Awards, at the Nova School of Business and Economics, in Carcavelos, Lisbon. At the same time as the conference, the Tourism Leaders Awards will be awarded in the Luxury Hotel, Leisure Hotel, Resort Hotel, Hotel Brand, Travel Brand, Sustainable Company, Technology Company, Creative Brand and Tourism Event categories.
The Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year and Innovation in Communication awards will also be awarded, two distinctions directly awarded by the TNEWS team. The New SBE Westmont Institute of Tourism & Hospitality once again distinguishes the “Women Leader in Tourism by WITH”, a distinction that was first awarded in last year’s edition, and which recognizes and celebrates the role of women in the tourism sector.
