A man and a woman of French nationality, aged 58 and 56 respectively, have been missing since yesterday in the Calhau site, in São VicenteSão Vicente.
The couple was last seen at 3:45 pm yesterday on Avenida Marcos Marques Rosa in Sítio do Calhau. I was walking towards Porto Moniz.
“The missing male citizen was 1.80m tall, was wearing a gray coat and loose blue tracksuit trousers. The missing female citizen was 1.69m tall, was wearing a blue sports coat and was carrying a pink backpack,” details the PSP.
The Madeira Regional Command of the Public Security Police asks anyone who may know the whereabouts of this couple to contact the Porto Moniz PSP Police Station, via telephone number 291 853 361.
At the moment, on the ground, there are the Search Rescue and Mountain Rescue Brigade, the patrol from the Porto Moniz Police Station, the patrol from the São Vicente Police Station and SANAS is collaborating.
