The Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation informs that the walking trails PR 1 (Vereda do Areeiro), PR 1.1 (Vereda da Ilha) and PR 1.2 (Vereda do Pico Ruivo) are closed due to hail and snow in the mountainous regions.
The Regional Roads that give access to the top of Pico do Areeiro and Achada do Teixeira are closed.
